the next weird, 032c autumn/winter 2010/11
Fashion futurism piece I wrote together with my friend Cher Potter in the new 032c. Looking forward to pulling some ideas together for spring/summer. Such a nice magazine to work for.

Check this out, preview of a piece I put together with my friend Cher for the next 032C. Well happy with this.

london belongs to me, bSTORE spring/summer 2011

Stills from the bSTORE film presentation in Paris during fashion week. Wrote the press release for them again, then realised last minute I’d be on the Eurostar home when the presentation was actually on, thus missing the party afterward too. Gutted. Feel of the collection is more relaxed than usual and takes a lead from early 90s post-club London. Looser fits, laundered denims, florals, and boxy dolman-sleeve sweats give it a new casual edge I really like. The film is amazing too, inspired by the videos directed by Derek Jarman for The Smiths. Shot by Ivana Bobic, with styling by my old mate Jason Hughes. Watch the whole thing at Dazed Digital.
adam kimmel s/s 2011, paris

Snoop Dogg-inspired looks and lowriders. Adam Kimmel always puts on a show but his clothes back it up. Gangster tailoring and sportswear with a more wearable, grown-up edge than Tisci’s take on it. Photos by my friend Geraldine over at Café Mode.
new yorka
Awesome birthday present no.2: my double-sided collage cut-up piece by young Greek artist New Yorka. Just need to decide which side to have on show and then save up for a proper frame.
new symphony

These moon light boxes and a rabbit sculpture constructed from old dried-out cacti are the work of my friend Douglas White, on show now alongside pieces by Tim Ellis, Katie Cuddon and Sam Plagerson at Simon Oldfield Gallery, Covent Garden until 04 July.
