Had just about the best day ever sat on Elbow Beach. Cranking up the rays before hurricane Danielle hits.
Man upstairs is doing my head in with weird drug factory/bomb making/DIY noises again and I can’t concentrate. If I’m going to be distracted, it might as well be listening to this.
Definitely one of those times when I kind of wish her coat was available for men, a combination of both their outfits would be a winner. From Dazed & Confused for September 2010, ph. Max Farago, and styling by Joanna Schlenzka.
Words can’t describe how good this ’73 BBC documentary about the British Hells Angel charter is. A quick excerpt: “Carl, jailed once, remanded twice; cross-eyed ever since his eyes were knocked out of their sockets in a fight.” The denim and leather uniforms are obviously beyond amazing, but check out that A Clockwork Orange soundtrack, and the casual suburban terrorism too. Watch it all here.
Great things from issue 3 of Hero. 1st ph: Scott Trindle/styling: Robbie Spencer. 2nd ph: Stefan Heinrichs/styling: Ingo Nahrwold. Check the vintage Versace.
In awe of this preppy mix of Comme and souvenir sweats, styled by Joe Mckenna and shot by Willy Vanderperre for the last Man About Town. Exchange student chic (minus the backpack worn on the front).
80s and 90s motocross styling is amazing. This is all from the latest O’Neal catalogue, celebrating 40 yrs in the sport.
My old friend Max just started an amazing tumblr for his photography: (almost) daily photography by maxime büchi
Art supplement published by Nieves to accompany this month’s issue of Huge, my favourite Japanese men’s style magazine. Featuring the work of Beni Bischof, Chris Johanson, Dimitri Broquard, Hendrik Hegray, Ingo Giezendanner, Johanna Jackson, Kim Gordon, Rita Ackermann, Stefan Marx, Warja Lavater, and Will Sweeney. I like Kim Gordon’s best (above), and not just cos I had a teenage crush on her.
